Bio-Based Dyneema - Fiber at Heart
The combination of Dyneema® Composite Fabric with Woven Polyester (150D) was chosen by Samaya for the Samaya ULTRA20 because of its exceptional properties. The material formed by lamination provides high waterproofness (20,000 mm) at minimal weight. On the outside, Woven Polyester provides unrivalled abrasion resistance and protects Samaya ULTRA20 from the elements. On the inside, Dyneema® Composite Fabric guarantees a watertight seal. Last but not least, the rigidity of this material ensures a better fit and ease of use, no matter how full the bag.
The lower part of the bag, which is the most subject to wear and tear, has been reinforced by the addition of a piece of Dyneema® fiber fabric. To offer lasting resistance to all possible stresses (abrasion, tearing, perforation), 300D Dyneema yarns have been woven into an even stronger material. The potential of Dyneema® fiber is fully exploited in the design of Samaya ULTRA20.
